Reflection on Content Analysis

Assalammualaikum and Salam 1 Malaysia...

           During the first lesson, we get the first assignment that is content analysis PBL. The thing that we have to do is what are the issues and challenges in integrating ICT in teaching and learning in our Malaysian Schools. We need to give opinion to this issues. 

           After all of us discussed and make the assignment, we concluded the issues and challenges of ICT are the effectiveness of teach using ICT, the cost to implement the ICT in teaching and learning, the equity of access in the non-urban and urban areas, lack of good monitoring and evaluation, sustainability of ICT education and lastly lack of creativity as the medium of teaching and learning. 

         For effectiveness, teacher should know how much ICT should be involved and to avoid distraction, reduce usage and manage the computer setting. While for cost, the government should manage properly the investment in ICT in education. For equity of access, with the supportive policies and careful planning and monitoring, ICT can be reach in non-urban areas. For the government, monitoring and evaluation must be priority of focus to become excellent. For sustainability of ICT education, the teacher mind setting should be opened to accept the change. Last but not least, teacher must be creative to make the curriculum more interesting without changing its content and do not let themselve to become not creative.

       I feel relieved after this assignment have been submitted. Beside that, we also have presented this presentation in the ICT laboratory.
